Welcome to Playa del Rey and Playa Vista

A scenic coastline and plenty of green space give this technology hub the perfect work-life balance

Playa del Rey is a small beach town. With Marina del Rey to the north and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to the south, you’ll always find a parade of sailboats out on the water or see planes taking off from the airport. Part of “Silicon Beach,” housing has seen an increase in demand as technology companies have been coming in droves. Playa del Rey is partly surrounded by the Ballona Creek and Wetlands, the last coastal wetland in Los Angeles.

On the other side of Lincoln Boulevard, Playa Vista was once a quiet and sparsely residential neighborhood. Today it has become the new technology hub with offices for Facebook, Yahoo, YouTube, and several others. There are charming single-family homes and a collection of resort-style condominiums with outdoor pools, lounges, tennis courts, clubhouses, and fitness centers. Playa Vista’s proximity to the beach and year-round outdoor recreation provides a balanced work-life lifestyle.
